Fitchburg Yogi of the Month: Tiffany Brunhoefer

Tiffany Brunhoefer took her first class at Dragonfly Hot Yoga in January and since then she has been a permanent fixture at both Dragonfly studios. Originally from Louisiana, Tiffany had tried many different yoga studios, fitness clubs, and other types of exercise available in Madison, but never found what she thought was a good fit until she experienced the Dragonfly difference. “I was really looking for something that I could latch onto, and with Dragonfly, something finally clicked this time.” Tiffany said that her Cajun temper used to get the better of her sometimes, but since starting a regular yoga practice she has learned how to breath through stressful situations and react in a positive manner. “My job in sales can be really stressful, but I feel that through yoga I can let go of the tension in my body and live a more healthy life. I sometimes suffer from migraine headaches, but if I can make it to a yoga class the headache will pretty much be gone by the end of class.”

Tiffany purchased a membership in February and we’ve seen her almost every day since, except this summer when she took a month off to prepare for her wedding. “During my month off I had so many headaches and so much stress in my body. I can’t tell you how amazing my first class back to Dragonfly felt,” said Tiffany, “After every class, I just feel clean and light.”

Tiffany just finished a 30 day challenge and is working on a 60 day challenge. Congratulations Tiffany!

Middleton Yogi of the Month: Barb McPherson

Barb has recently added Hot Yoga to the top of her list of fitness programs that work. Being a working mother of four children easily leads to being busy, so she was looking for convenience, comfort and results. Hot Yoga gives her a framework for remaining active and focusing on increasing her flexibility and breath. She has found a balance between the physical and mental benefits of Hot Yoga and loves every moment of it.

She enjoys taking ownership of her practice, “I like feeling I can come in and set my own pace”. The variety of classes and instructors keep her excited to try new things and the lovely heat keeps bringing her back. She loves walking into the heated room.

Barb’s 17 year old daughter, Grace, introduced her to Dragonfly. You will see them attend classes together often. Each keep one another accountable in attending classes because they know how good it makes them feel. Barb thanks Dragonfly for creating such a welcoming, beautiful and impactful studio. We thank you Barb, for being an inspiration to us.

Get Personal! Schedule a Training Session With Us

Personal training sessions at Dragonfly are more than just private yoga sessions. Although we can accommodate people who want to fine-tune their yoga practice, we can offer other things such as relaxation, meditation or anything else the you want. For instance, if the you want to incorporate Pilates or BarreAmped into your session, we have trainers who can accommodate that request. We encourage you to get creative!

We will use our beautiful private yoga studio at the Middleton location or if there are no classes going on we can use the larger studio in Fitchburg.
