50 Hour Yoga Foundations Teacher Training

Join us for our exclusive 50 hour Yoga Foundations Teacher Training! We developed this training specifically for those who are interested in teaching and/or learning more about yoga, but aren’t ready to commit to 200 hours of training. In just four weekend days you will leave this training ready to plan and teach Dragonfly’s foundational and powerful Flow class.

This foundational training is for:

• Those who are curious about teaching yoga, but aren’t able to dedicate 200 hours to a teacher training
• Dedicated yogis who want to go deeper into their yoga practice, learning the how and why behind our Flow class
• Yoga teachers who have taken online trainings but are looking for in-person teaching experience
• Yoga teachers who are looking for continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance

What you’ll learn:

• Foundational Yoga Poses – Alignment principles and modifications
• Sequencing Essentials – How to structure an effective and balanced class
• Confident Cueing – Learn to guide students with clear, effective verbal cues
• Building the Vibe – How to prepare an intentional yoga playlist that enhances the experience
• Practice Teaching – Gain real-world teaching experience and receive constructive feedback
• Holding Space – Develop confidence in leading a class with authenticity and presence

Includes:

• 50 hours of teacher training (32 hours of in-person training, with 18 outside study hours, including personal practice, observation, and co-teaching)
• Free Dragonfly membership for 1 month
• Training manual
• Hands on teaching experience
• Community support from your fellow trainees and Dragonfly clients
• Time and encouragement to develop your own teaching style
• Potential to add these 50 training hours towards a 200 hour yoga teacher certification
• 50 hours of continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance (if you are an RYT)
