Yin Yoga Immersion

We are pleased to announce our first ever 25 hour Yin Yoga immersion! We developed this training specifically for yoga teachers who are interested in teaching Yin, and anyone who is interested in learning more about Yin Yoga. We’ll spend 18 hours face-to-face, and 7 hours of work outside of class.

This training is for:

• Yoga teachers who are looking for continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance.
• Yoga teachers who teach, or would like to teach Yin.
• Yogis who have taken Dragonfly’s 50 hour Foundations Training and are working toward 200 hour certification.
• Dedicated yogis who want to deepen their yoga practice, learning the how and why behind Yin Yoga.

What you’ll learn:

• Foundational Concepts – Yin Yang Theory and Principles of Yin Yoga
• Anatomy and Physiology – Fascia and Connective Tissue, Meridian Systems, Joint Health
• Yin Postures – including modifications and contraindications
• Teaching Methodology – Sequencing, Modifications, Use of props, Safety
• Mindfulness, Meditation and Breathwork – Techniques and Integration
• Practical Applications- Class Structure, Personal Practice Development
• Hands on Assists – Practice with feedback
• Aromas – Introduction to the use of essential oils and benefits
• Holding Space – Develop confidence in leading a class with authenticity and presence

Includes:

• 18 hours of in-person training, with 7 outside study hours
• Training manual
• Hands on experience
• Potential to add these 25 training hours towards a 200 hour yoga teacher certification
• 25 hours of continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance (if you are an RYT)
• Already a Certified yoga teacher? You will receive information about potentially teaching for Dragonfly Hot Yoga!
