My Teaching Style

I love class with super fun music! I’m a huge music nerd so I try to get super into the playlists. I also want class to feel challenging and like a good opportunity push yourself, but my priority is always comfort and safety! No one likes to workout when they aren’t comfortable, and I truly believe that this class is YOUR class, so I love seeing people take what they need and shake things up in their own (safe) way!!

Experience

I had a friend introduce me to Dragonfly almost 3 years ago now when I was having some health issues and wanted to switch up my workout because of it. I absolutely fell in love with Power Up, and Flow & Lift! I am formerly a competitive gymnastic turned water polo player, so I am used to weight lifting and lots of stretching and all sorts of things. This was such an awesome change of pace and made me feel so much more balanced in my other workouts! Now I can’t imagine life without it!

Favorite Pose

Warrior 1 & 2! I dread lunges in workouts so whenever these get thrown in a Flow & Lift or just a Flow, I can feel myself getting stronger and dreading it less!

Why I Love Dragonfly

After being an athlete for so long, working out felt like a task on the to-do list and a means to an end. Dragonfly made it feel like 45-60 minutes where I was showing up for me, I didn’t feel like I had to use the heaviest weights or be the most flexible. I felt like I could just give what I had that day and feel comfortable to keep coming back and keep showing up!

Little Known Fact About Me

I’ve moved 7 times and have lived in 3 countries, and I LOVE to read so if you ever need a book recommendation I am definitely your girl!
