My introduction to Yoga was my mom's Gaiam instructional DVDs for kids and adults. The distinguished abs of the Yoga teachers in those videos made me certain I could get absolutely shredded as an 8-year-old after doing some poses. My first actual Yoga class was in college where one of my friends was an instructor at our campus rec center. Yoga offered itself as a stress-relieving activity, so I continued it sparsely throughout college. I moved to Madison after graduation and when the winter months hit, I tried hot Yoga with Dragonfly. It was a nice escape from the icy deathtrap that awaited me outdoors, and leaving every workout sweaty and feeling rejuvenated established my desire to regularly attend. Yoga is the only workout I can do repeatedly without needing rest days and has the unique ability to be both energizing and calming simultaneously.

Why I Love Dragonfly
Dragonfly is one of the best-kept and most organized fitness studios I’ve attended, and the people are so warm and welcoming. Given the variety of locations, there is always a class available for me to fit into my busy schedule.
Little Known Fact About Me
Despite sharing my name with an iconic city and brand of tomato, I’m named after my late maternal grandfather Romulo.
