200 hour Yoga Teacher Training
Experience
I spent all of my 20s treating Yoga as purely physical exercise. I was also in a place mentally, where I judged my body and would compare “my performance” to others. I didn’t see Yoga for all that it could be until I had more than one Cognitive Behavioral Therapist offer meditation and Yoga as tools for improving my mental health. In time, group classes became a source of my healing. I could now reconnect to love, treat myself and others with more kindness and deepen my practice. So in my 30th year, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with a therapeutic approach and got certified in Somatics and Trauma-Informed Yoga. Teaching others to use their minds, breath and bodies to connect to Spirit (aka that infinite source of love) has brought me more joy and purpose than I could have ever imagined.
Favorite Pose
Utthita Parsvakonasana or Extended Side Angle Pose! It’s a pose where I feel supremely grounded while at the same time I’m expanding and taking up space.
Favorite Quote
“We can be warriors. We can be soft and still have the strength to move mountains. We can feel things greatly and yet not be undone. We can be seen and heard and loved. We can be tender with each other and we can show up for one another. And even with all of our broken pieces, we are human, we are whole.”

Why I Love Dragonfly
Dragonfly is where my Yoga journey actually began! It has always been a place for community, fun and personal growth. Like with anything else, we just have to be open enough to receive its warmth!
Little Known Fact About Me
I love painting. I actually sell and ship pet portraits for people all over the country!
