My Teaching Style
My teaching style is to make you feel strong and powerful no matter your level of experience, while also having fun. I strive to create an environment where clients are free to explore their edge, build strength, and confidence in their practice. I like striking a balance between aspects that feel like a workout and aspects that feel relaxing. I’m a big believer in yoga is for every “body”.
I took yoga off and on while in college. When I moved to Madison after graduation, I was looking for a new place to workout. I decided to try Dragonfly's 30 day pass and I was hooked after the first class. I loved how each class was different and challenged me in new ways. I found that I gained more than just physical benefits. Yoga has helped me with my emotional and mental health in more ways than one. I enrolled in the winter session of Dragonfly's Teacher Training in 2022 and completed my barre training in March 2023.
Tree pose. I love how this pose allows you turn internally and find stillness. There's a lot of power in standing tall and strong.
