My Teaching Style
When I first started practicing yoga, I thought I had to do everything the instructor said. Over time, I learned to pay attention to my body and modify poses as I needed to, which made me enjoy classes more. In my classes, I strive to create a space where clients feel like they can take what they need that day, even if it is just to lie down on their mat throughout class. My flow classes are slower paced with lots of time at the beginning to feel centered. I think that one of the most challenging parts of any wellness practice is creating the time to do it - sometimes you’re racing to class from the busyness of the day, so I like to offer space at the beginning of class to settle in. I also love to offer hands-on assists to help clients enhance their poses and experience them in different ways. Most importantly, I hope to provide a space where my clients feel welcome and comfortable.
I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Dragonfly and my 500-hour training with Wild Abundant Life, both in 2017. I have been teaching yoga since then and have been practicing since 2014.
I have two! One is child’s pose because I love how grounding it is, and how good it feels in my back and shoulders. The other is extended side angle because it is an amazing side-body stretch, and it reminds me that my legs are stronger than I think.

Why I Love Dragonfly
I have been going to Dragonfly since 2014! Dragonfly is a place I enter with a busy (and sometimes chaotic) mind and leave with a calm mind. I love that Dragonfly is such a comfortable and welcoming environment. The studios are beautiful, and each location has a great community of kind staff and clients.
Little Known Fact About Me
I love to be outside as much as possible, and my new favorite outdoor activity is golf!
