My Teaching Style
I aim to create a motivating and inviting environment, where clients can come as they are and hopefully leave a little more energized and stronger. I encourage clients to push themselves to a place where they feel strong, while emphasizing the importance of listening to your body and taking breaks when needed. Attention to form is also important in my classes as a preventative measure against injury. I will often offer modifications or add-ons so everyone can push themselves to the level they need for that day. I also strive to create an upbeat playlist and am always open to music recommendations!
Experience
I attended my first Power Up class in 2017 at Dragonfly after my friend encouraged me to give it a try. I won’t lie – the class was challenging as this was my first group fitness class and my first time working out in a heated room. However, the challenge of the class made it even more enticing, and I soon found myself purchasing a membership. As I stayed consistent, I became even more motivated as I started to see my strength and endurance improve. Over the years, Dragonfly became a staple in my workout routine. In 2024, I decided to become Power Up certified and am so excited to continue my fitness journey in an instructor role.
Favorite Pose
I love cardio so it is not unlikely that you will encounter burpees in my classes. However, if we are talking strength, I love a good combo move like squat to press.

Why I Love Dragonfly
I appreciate the welcoming environment and sense of community Dragonfly provides. There is something powerful about working out with a group of people, where everyone is holding each other accountable. I leave every class feeling better than I did going in.
