My Teaching Style
My teaching style is calm yet energetic, challenging yet soothing, inventive yet basic. I encourage students to listen to what their body and mind is requesting and either surrender or challenge that request.
I am Irish and a nurse so I love to give hands on assists or place hands on a student where I see them holding tension or stress unnecessarily!
My goal in each class is to facilitate individual growth both mentally and physically.
I have been practicing yoga for 30 plus years. I used to be a pretty high strung, tightly wound, searching for perfection person until I found yoga! With my evolving yoga practice I have learned to embrace my life and all my imperfections and BREATHE!
I am a graduate of Edgewood Nursing School and have worked in several specialties but OB/Gyn was my favorite! I am passionate about the whole unfolding of pregnancy as well as the stages of development of babies and well, I just love babies!

Why I Love Dragonfly
I always feel welcome when I walk through the door of any one of the studios! I also feel that each instructor that I have practiced with has taught me something or has reminded me to be patient with myself! I also appreciate the cleanliness of the studios as well as the locations of the studios!
Little Known Fact About Me
I have been married to the love of my life for 32 years and we have 3 great kids and two fit-right-in daughters-in-law and some day soon may get to have grandchildren- ;) Oh and we have a rockin’ frisbee catching black lab!
