How did you get started at Dragonfly?
I started at Dragonfly during my junior year at UW. I lived right around the corner from the downtown location and had done hot yoga before and enjoyed it, so I decided to sign up for Dragonfly! I was hooked from the first class.

What was your yoga or barre experience before joining us?
I had taken yoga and hot yoga classes sporadically for the past few years but never had a consistent practice until joining Dragonfly.

What do you enjoy most about attending Dragonfly classes?
I really enjoy the variety of classes that Dragonfly offers and between the multiple studios I am always able to find a class that fits my schedule well. I also really enjoy the sense of community and physical spaces of the studios. Dragonfly is always so calm and welcoming.

Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since you started taking classes?
Definitely! I feel more in tune with my mind and body and all around feel stronger and more balanced.

How often do you attend, and do you have a favorite class?
I usually come around 4 times a week. I mostly take Flow and Yoga Up classes, and I have to say Colleen’s Sunday class is my all time fav. Always a grounding yet fun way to end the week.

I’m so grateful for Dragonfly and the community! I’m a 1st grade teacher and Dragonfly has helped me so much throughout my first year of teaching to prioritize my own well being so I can show up for my students as my best self. Thank you to all the amazing instructors!
