My Teaching Style
I would describe my teaching style as the middle ground between the spiritual practice of yoga and the fitness aspect of it. I try to get students out of their heads and into the present moment through body awareness.
Experience
My yoga journey began when I was a graduate student with no money and a generous boss. The woman I worked for at the time was also a yoga instructor and would let me take her classes for free and I haven't stopped since! Formal meditation was always a struggle for me, but yoga allowed me to practice mindfulness through movement. Now I'd like to help others experience the benefits of that as well! I completed my 200 hours in the spring of 2025 and took Dragonfly's 50 hour foundation training in the fall of 2025.
Favorite Pose
Half-Moon Pose: This pose has always been my favorite because of the way it challenges me. Apart from some of the other single leg balance postures, half-moon allows for a big, open expression and many different ways to make it more or less difficult.

Little Known Fact About Me
I love to go chasing waterfalls! I know TLC tried to steer everyone away from it, but I think they just wanted them all to themselves.
