How did you get started at Dfly?
I signed up for a midnight NYE class back in 2022, somewhat on a whim, and was instantly hooked!
What was your yoga/barreamped experience before Dfly?
I would attend an occasional yoga class here and there, usually when a friend invited me — but had never incorporated yoga into my regular practice.
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I absolutely love the hot temperatures! Which is surprising because that was my biggest concern/fear about hot yoga before starting at Dragonfly. But I’ve found that the high temp in class is actually pretty comfortable and has been key to helping me relax and thoroughly stretch my muscles.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Absolutely! Since attending classes regularly, I’ve seen a big shift in both my physical and mental health. I come from a background in dance, and I’ve noticed improvement in both my strength and flexibility since making yoga a part of my regular practice. Having dedicated time for myself is also a great outlet for stress relief, and has left me feeling a lot more well-balanced and ready to handle whatever life throws at me.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I try to attend 3-4 classes a week. It’s tough to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose I’d probably say Core Flow! I am truly and so grateful for Dragonfly! It is such a wonderful community and all of the instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable.
