I’ve been coming to Dragonfly for about 10 years, but I have definitely been coming more consistently over the last 2 when I became a member.
I had limited experience with yoga before coming to Dragonfly. I had done a few hot yoga classes at another studio in Madison.
I love the heat and how welcoming the instructors are.
As my body gets older, I realize how much coming to Dragonfly helps me with my flexibility. I can tell the difference if I can’t attend my usual class!
I usually attend once a week. Almost always the Tuesday Aroma Yin with Fran L. This has become my favorite class. Fran always seems to put a lot of thought into what poses she suggests and the essential oils that she chooses.
Yoga at Dragonfly is a much needed addition to other activities that I enjoy like weight training and soccer. I’ve never been very flexible but I believe that attending Yin weekly has allowed me to continue these activities with less pain/soreness.
