How did you get started at Dfly?
I had a friend first introduce me to Dfly over 10 years ago, but more recently I joined after returning to my mat after a long break due to COVID.
What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
I started my practice doing prenatal yoga with my first son 14 years ago, but then became more serious after my second son was born and I needed to focus on self-care.
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I enjoy the intensity, dedicated space to “zone out”/meditate and the teachers that can bring you with them as they share their experiences through the practice.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
I have learned more about acceptance within myself and of others as we all share in the same space.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I typically do 5+ classes per week and really enjoy the 60 minute Flows as well as the 45 minute power ups. My favorites are Chakra Flow with Angela, any class with Brenda, and the Power Ups with Taytum (amazing sense of humor!).
Please feel free to share any other thoughts you have about Dfly, hot yoga, or your life as we would love to know more about you.
I really enjoy how Dfly members are willing to put it out there as we sweat our butts off at times and can laugh about it even when we are at our most vulnerable moments! We all seem to understand to take the practice seriously and are dedicated but balance that out with not taking it too seriously.
Instructor Carly S.: “From Vinyasa flows to HIIT classes, Erin’s lighthearted nature is matched by dedication to her practice. She approaches each class with a playful curiosity, open to exploring new poses and techniques while maintaining a grounded sense of awareness. Erin reminds us that yoga isn’t just about physical postures—it’s about being present, enjoying the journey, and connecting with ourselves on a deeper level. Congratulations, Erin! Thank you for sharing your presence with us.”
