How did you get started at Dfly?
A friend (shoutout to Heather O!) has been going to Dragonfly for years and finally convinced me to give it a try. I purchased a month-pass and was hooked at my first class. (Props to Tuesday Power up with Pam for a great first ever class!)

What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
I had tried yoga several times over the years before but it had never really stuck. I always felt a bit awkward and out of place and just didn’t love the experience, so I figured yoga just was not for me. At Dragonfly I have found fun, patient, and knowledgeable instructors that have helped me feel at home in the space.

What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I love the energy the instructors and my fellow yogis bring. I love the variety of classes offered and have loved that there are so many ways to challenge your body. Joining dragonfly has helped me in so many ways. I have watched my body get stronger and have seen my balance and mobility improve.

How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I try to get to at least 2 ‘UP’ classes, and 2 yoga classes a week. It is hard to have a favorite but would love to shout out some of the folks that have kept me coming around.

Pam and my Tuesday Power Up folks; These power people really push me to be my strongest self. Kirstyn and the high energy Friday Power Up class have me ready to start every weekend feeling amazing. Katie M. who taught me that yoga was indeed for me, and Anna at fascia yoga who teaches me so much about how to effectively move my body, and has encouraged me to embrace chaos :)

I never thought I would be a yoga or even group fitness person but here I am! The environment has been so welcoming and the classes approachable yet challenging. I love that classmates have become friends, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to sweat off a day’s worth of stress in a room full of folks pushing to be better. It is just a great experience that keeps me coming back.
