How did you get started at Dfly?
I originally started coming to Dragonfly in January of 2022 with a month-long trial. I loved the variety of classes and the atmosphere at Dfly, so I came back in September and haven’t stopped since!

What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
Prior to Dragonfly I had never attended any sort of yoga/barre/core power class; however, I LOVE spending time in the sauna so I thought Dfly would be a great match.

What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I love the diversity of classes that Dragonfly offers! From Sisley’s Flows, Jake and Brooklyn’s Yoga Ups, Nassim’s Flow and Lifts, and Sara’s Barre classes, I am always able to find a fun and challenging mix of classes to attend.

Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Definitely! I always sign up for classes around my school and work schedule, so by default I have definitely become more of a morning person in order to prioritize attending my favorite instructor’s classes. Overall, even though it may be hard to find motivation to come to classes in the winter, I always leave class feeling energized and glad that I attended.

How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
During the school semester while I am in Madison, I attend class almost every day! There are too many types of classes to choose just one favorite, but my most attended classes are probably Yoga Ups, Power Ups, Flow and Lifts, and Flows. I have made it a habit to attend Brooklyn’s 6am Yoga Up 45 and Sisley’s 7:30am Flow 60 every Tuesday morning. These have become my favorite pair of classes to attend each week.

Please feel free to share any other thoughts you have about Dfly, hot yoga, or your life as we would love to know more about you.
Last summer I made it a habit to attend Dfly classes after my night shifts at the hospital. In this case, Nassim’s Flow and Lift 60 was my favorite (and I think I managed to only fall asleep at the end of class during savasana once). Overall I am so fortunate to find Dfly and to be a part of this community!
