Jia W. | Dragonfly Hot Yoga Madison WI

How did you get started at Dfly?
In 2019 I wanted to try yoga again. My friend saw the website and helped me find Dragonfly.

What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
When I lived in China I tried yoga in 2006 the first time after having my daughter to lose weight. I did not lose weight, but improved flexibility and helped me relax. This is when I was introduced and started my love of yoga.

What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes? Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Release body and mind to reduce stress. Learning new yoga poses to improve strength and flexibility. I have more energy and feel more relaxed. My body has improved and is in better shape.

How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
For the past year almost everyday I attend a class. It is hard to choose one because all of the classes improve my body. When I want to stretch my body I like to flow. If I want to lose weight I like to do yoga up. If I want to improve my shape then cardio barre.

Please feel free to share any other thoughts you have about Dfly, hot yoga, or your life as we would love to know more about you.
I wanted to start getting in better shape and taking care of my body. I was nervous about taking classes since English is not my first language. When I first started I could not understand, but I wanted to try. I would watch the trainer and others in the class and was able to. Everyone was very nice and helped me. Now I know how and can understand. I really look forward to doing yoga everyday and love it. The trainers and students in class motivate me to keep doing yoga.
