How did you get started at Dfly?
In 2017, my family and I had just moved to Middleton and we welcomed baby #4. I was more than ready for some fitness options! My husband bought me a month pass to Dragonfly as a gift after I suggested I might like to get back into yoga. I had no idea Dragonfly had such amazing fitness classes too. After my first Power Up class, I was hooked.
What was your yoga/barre experience before Dfly?
I have always worked out and kept myself fit. But before Dfly, I mostly did individual work – going to the gym and running on my own. I quickly learned how much I enjoy the energy and challenge of doing classes. Now, Dfly is my main fitness regime.
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I love the mental break that classes give me from my work and home life. And I love the physical challenge. The instructors are fantastic. They take so much time and care to put together fun and worthwhile classes. I appreciate them so much!
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Absolutely. After about six months of doing Up classes, my physique changed and my fitness level improved. I also found classes to be a great stress-reliever. I have been doing Up classes consistently for almost five years (including OnDemand during the COVID months). I am as healthy and fit as I have ever been.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I know Dfly is known for its yoga classes, but I really enjoy the fitness classes. I take 3-5 Up classes per week. My favorites are Circuit Up and Power Up. There are so many great instructors, but Shawn’s Circuit Up is a favorite of mine, and so are Pam, Ashley, and Carrie’s Power Up classes.

I have four kids between the ages 5 to 11, a job that keeps me pretty busy, and a household to manage. Exercise has always been a big part of my life, but Dfly has been a life saver. I set up my schedule to accommodate Up classes. They give me energy to keep up with my kids and my active lifestyle, and the classes help keep me sane. I love everything about Dfly!
