I took my first yoga class my senior year of college and there was an almost instant shift in my own body awareness. It helped me reset in ways that going to the gym for years and jumping on the elliptical or the bike never did. Once I moved to Madison about 6 years ago, a co-worker introduced me to Dragonfly and I’ve been coming ever since!
Dancer. I feel like it’s good practice to take up space, find your internal sense of balance, and have fun!
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
Why I Love Dragonfly
The first time I came to Dragonfly, I immediately felt welcomed and there was no judgement. Of course I love the hot room, but my favorite part is that the emphasis truly is on connecting with your body intrinsically and overall wellness, versus trying to meet an externally measured goal.
