My Teaching Style
I teach with the intention to create greatness in each and every student. Yoga is a time to relax and unwind, but there is a time for everything. My sequencing varies, but always has elements to challenge your strength, balance, and flexibility. I like to incorporate playfulness to add light and joy to the mind, body, and soul.
I took my first yoga class about 18 years ago. I stumbled into a 90 minute Bikram class after a tough year and never left. Yoga has been my saving grace and continues to show me how to be present and open to what this journey called life has to offer. I have had the honor of working with many teachers (Bikram, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Bryan Kest to name a few) and always try to incorporate a little from each of them in my classes.
My favorite pose is Ukataksana (forward fold). I love how simple and accessible it is to most students. Forward Folds allow for the opportunity to restore the mind, body, and soul, and to begin again.

Why I Love Dragonfly
Dragonfly creates community and brings yogis together that are at all levels to practice. The room is perfect to create space and creativity, and the noodle floor is my favorite.
