My Teaching Style
I want everyone to feel strong and empowered in my classes. I love Dragonfly’s commitment to being for every body, and I try to bring that into my classes by offering lots of options/modifications that are inclusive of everyone’s abilities. One of my favorite parts of class is making playlists! Having fun, upbeat music can make pushing through that challenging workout so much easier.
I have been doing Yoga off and on since high school. A good friend of mine (Carrie Miller) started teaching Power Up when we were working together back in 2015 and I attended a class and really enjoyed it! I’ve always had a really hard time enjoying cardio workouts. But the way Power Up is formatted, the music, and working out collectively with other people really keeps me motivated! I loved the class so much I decided to get my Power Up certification in 2019.

Why I Love Dragonfly
I love the welcoming atmosphere. It can be very intimidating to walk into a new yoga studio, but I’ve always felt welcomed at Dfly. I also LOVE the variety of classes. I love that I can take a relaxing Aroma Yin class, Flow, Barre or Power Up. There are so many options I never get bored!
Little Known Fact About Me
I love foraging (mostly mushrooms) and coming up with new recipes for whatever I find.
