How did you get started at Dfly?
I began taking classes at Dragonfly after I moved back to Madison and was looking to try something other than my traditional exercise routine at the gym. I had done some yoga in the past and was looking for a studio that would allow me to incorporate yoga into my daily routine. Dragonfly was the first studio I tried and I haven’t left.
What was your yoga/BarreAmped experience before Dfly?
I had done yoga in the past, but pretty inconsistently. I had never tried hot yoga before Dragonfly, and after a few classes I was hooked. I honestly don’t think I could go back to regular yoga.
What do you enjoy most from attending Dfly classes?
I enjoy the variety of classes Dragonfly has to offer. The fitness classes are such a great work out and the classes go by so quickly. The instructors are also very encouraging and challenge me to always keep working hard throughout the class.
Have you experienced any changes in your total well-being since taking classes?
Yes, not only have I become so much stronger, physically, it has also helped me stay centered and mentally power through challenging situations outside of the yoga studio.
How often do you attend classes? Favorite class?
I attend class 3-4 times a week and try to do a mix of Yoga Up, Flows, and Aroma Yins. I love to get my butt kicked during Autumn’s Yoga Up or relax after a long work week in Jessica’s Aroma Yin on Friday nights.

Not only has Dragonfly been an amazing place to practice, the Dragonfly community is so uplifting and supportive. I always appreciate the friendly staff and instructors the minute I walk in. Outside of yoga, I am a Physical Therapist, and like to run, read, watch anything on Bravo, go to wine tastings at Square Wine, and eat spicy foods.
