Between what you hear on TV and read in the news, eating right can seem like a real challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether you want to learn how to eat for your allergies, lower your cholesterol, manage chronic disease, improve athletic performance, or simply eat better, our nutritionists can help you weed through the murky waters of nutrition misinformation and provide evidence-based, easy-to-follow nutrition advice. Our Registered Dietitians draw on their science-based education and experience to provide vital food and nutrition services while helping you make positive lifestyle changes tailored to your unique needs. Dragonfly’s Nutrition Counseling Sessions are a great deal – you may pay $75-$100+ out of pocket to see an outpatient Registered Dietitian at a Doctor’s office!
What To Expect
Sessions with a nutrionist can occur over the phone or in person. At your initial consultation, expect to do a lot of talking while they do a lot of listening in order to best learn about your current and desired state of health. After learning about your health history, favorite foods, eating and exercise habits, your nutritionist will help you set goals and prioritize. Follow-up sessions will focus on maintenance and monitoring your progress.
How To Get Started
Select an available appointment time for your initial phone consultation and you will receive a confirmation notification via email. You will need to fill out a nutrition history assessment and a Privacy Consent Form prior to your initial phone session.

I completed my supervised practice hours to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Iowa State University in 2012. Prior to that, I completed my Doctorate in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a concentration in human and clinical nutrition and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from North Dakota State University.
My nutrition focus area is health promotion and disease prevention. I have been in the area of food and nutrition for over 15 years and have worked in obesity prevention research at UW-Madison and as an outpatient Registered Dietitian in the UW Health Preventive Cardiology program. I currently serve as the Graduate Program Director in Dietetics at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee.
My approach to healthy eating is that it needs to work for an individual’s lifestyle, food preferences and personal goals. My role as a nutritionist is to help guide individuals towards their healthy eating goals. I understand the barriers we often face when making food choices and eating healthy. I’m a working mom of two—believe me, I still have to work at it!
