Join Tiffany Geier (CYT, RYT, and Physical Education Teacher) as she guides your tween through yoga, designed to develop strength and confidence. Tween classes will be designed to meet the needs of this unique and changing age group. The intention of this series is for girls to find yoga through fun activities, poses, sequences, games and music that will in-turn develop them into lifelong yogis!
Research has shown that yoga is especially good for tweens and teens because it can help increase flexibility, create good posture and support the maturation of their changing bodies. Practicing yoga gives girls something they can’t always get from sports or other activities. In other activities they may be getting a good physical workout, but their energy and attention is focused outward. In yoga, energy is shifted internally, creating a compliment to their everyday lives!
All parents/guardians must sign a waiver for their children.
What to Bring
